The Dollar General store on Ga. 124 in the Braselton area is open for business, but officials are still planning to hold an official "grand opening" on Saturday, June 10 at 8 a.m.
The first 50 adult shoppers will receiver a $10 store gift card, and the first 200 will receive a Dollar General tote bag, according to a news release.
Additional "free prizes and special deals" will also be available at the store, which is located near Jesse Cronic Road.
“Dollar General is committed to delivering a pleasant shopping experience that includes a convenient location, a wide assortment of merchandise and great prices on quality products,” said Dan Nieser, Dollar General’s senior vice president of real estate and store development, in a statment.
The stores generally bring six to 10 jobs to the area.
