A number of Hall County Sheriff's deputies joined the ANW this week as part of WDUN's months-long "End the Epidemic" campaign to help spread awareness and end opioid addiction in the North Georgia area.
Among other items, the deputies discussed the wide-ranging issues related to the opioid epidemic that has taken a foothold in the area, as well recent emergency calls that saw them utilize opioid reversal drugs to resuscitate individuals who had overdosed and were in need of immediate medical treatment.
