Rabun County officials ask public for help locating missing woman

CLAYTON — A Rabun County woman who went missing with her three young children around 7 p.m. Thursday has not returned and officials are concerned.

Brittany Rebecca Stewart 28, has been missing since March 23. She also has her three male children, ages 7 months to 7 years, with her.

Stewart is believed to be driving a maroon 1999 Ford Explorer with Georgia license plate RCP 0743.

A Nixle alert issued regarding Stewart Sunday night states there could be significant threat to life or property.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or Stewart is asked to dial 9-1-1. Anyone who knows her whereabouts should call Rabun County Dispatch at (706) 782-6226.
