Girls tennis: GHS cruises through 4-1 win at Lanier

SUGAR HILL — The Gainesville girls tennis team took out Lanier, 4-1, on Tuesday in Sugar Hill.

Haley Frankum won in straight sets at No. 1 singles 7-6, 6-4, while Ali Waggoner won in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

The Lady Red Elephants' No. 1 doubles team of Paige Ackerman/Madi Kiser won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. And the No. 2 team of Paige Patterson/Grace O’Keefe won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.

The Gainesville girls travel to Habersham Central at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
