Tennis: Lady Falcons knock off North Hall

The Flowery Branch girls tennis knocked off North Hall 4-1 Monday in non-region action.

The Lady Falcons moved on to 12-3 on the season with the victory.

Flowery Branch swept the singles with Annabelle Thomas rallying from a set down to beat Anna Montgomery 0-6, 6-3, 10-8 at No. 1; Olivia Correa defeated Lauren Davis 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2; and Olivia Nance held off Christen Barnes 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.

The Lady Falcons' Peyton Brick and Kylie McGuire defeated Sydney Patterson and Annalise Gregory 6-1, 6-7, 10-6 at No. 1 doubles.

North Hall got its only win at No. 2 doubles with Carson Baumgardener and Raquel Kallab beating Marissa Barrett and Brenna Martin 6-2, 6-4.

Flowery Branch next will travel to Walnut Grove on Monday and will play host to Loganville on Thursday in Region 8-AAAAA matches.
