Gainesville first responders expected the Ga. 13/Atlanta Highway northbound ramp to Interstate 985 to remain blocked for a while Monday afternoon because of a traffic accident.
In a 3:35 p.m. email, Gainesville Fire Department Division Chief Keith Smith said one victim was trapped in the wreckage.
"I'll update as I learn more," Smith stated.
In photographs Smith sent from the scene, it appeared the vehicle was down an embankment.
