A Friday morning traffic accident in south Hall County injured two students on a Hall County school bus, according to a school district official.

"Bus number 2002, driven by Ms. Jennifer Gomez, impacted the rear of a vehicle on Hog Mountain Road," Hall County School District Director of Community Relations Gordon Higgins wrote in a media release.  "She was transporting 37 students at the time to Davis Middle School and Flowery Branch High School."

The accident happened at about 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Cash Road in Flowery Branch.

Three students complained of pain and discomfort after the wreck.  Two were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for evaluation with what Higgins described as non-life threatening injuries.

The Georgia State Patrol is handling the accident investigation.
