The Gainesville City School System is throwing a party Sunday to celebrate its 125th anniversary.

It will be held at the Gainesville High School Gym from 1:00-5:00, open to public and free of charge.

According to the system's weekly newsletter, there will be many artifacts on display in various locations throughout the high school spanning over 125 years. A dedication ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the event to officially commemorate Deshaun Watson Way (formerly Touchdown Drive) in honor of the GHS graduate who recently led the Clemson Tigers to the NCAA football championship.
