Mother Nature won out again at the DIRTcar Nationals Thursday night.
Persistent rain showers and the forecast for more in the area led race and track officials to postpone Thursday night’s scheduled events at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida.
It marks the second straight night that racing at Volusia was washed out, with Wednesday’s action also being cancelled.
Racing action is slated to resume on Friday, February 24, with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modifieds set to compete.
