The Georgia State Patrol has identified the man killed in a fatal head-on wreck involving four vehicles east of Cleveland Saturday morning.

GSP Post 6 in Gainesville was notified of the wreck on Ga. 115 west of Ga. 384 (Duncan Bridge Road) at 6:52 a.m., according to Cpl. Spencer Munger.

A Toyota Scion driven by Ulises Delgado-Carrera, 30, of Murrayville was traveling west on Ga. 115 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed the double yellow line and struck an eastbound Ford F-150 driven by Tony Hooper, 49, of Cleveland head-on, according to Munger.

Delgado-Carrera died of injuries suffered in the wreck, according to Munger. Hooper was injured, and was taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

An eastbound Ford Escape driven by Jeremy Craig, 37, of Cleveland was unable to avoid the initial collision and struck the Toyota Scion. A westbound Kia Soul driven by Erica Mokarem, 45, of Demorest was struck by debris from the collision.

Neither Craig nor Mokarem was injured, according to Munger.

The wreck shut down Ga. 115 for several hours.
