The Georgia State Patrol has identified the driver of a passenger vehicle that crashed into the back of a Hall County school bus which was carrying 33 students on Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers identified the driver as Linda Bruce, 72, of Flowery Branch.

Bruce was driving a Chevrolet Lumina when she hit the bus that was traveling northbound on Winder Highway (GA 53) and had stopped to drop off passengers near Union Place. That is when Bruce hit the bus in the rear. She suffered an unspecified but non-life threatening injury, according to the update. One student complained of leg pain, according to the investigating trooper.

No charges are pending.

The Hall County School District said the students on the bus were all from Chestnut Mountain Elementary School.
