Posted 2:25AM on Friday 1st December 2017 ( 6 years ago )

Quick thinking by a robbery and kidnapping victim landed two suspects from Oakwood behind bars and may have saved the victim's life.

Oakwood Police Sgt. Todd Templeton said Jennifer Luna-Flores, 19,  and Damon Jackson, 21, used text messaging Wednesday to lure the male victim to an Oakwood Hills Drive address.

Templeton said the man believed he was only meeting Luna-Flores.  When the victim arrived, Jackson appeared, produced a gun, demanded cash and that the victim drive him to Gainesville.

On Browns Bridge Road, Templeton said the victim saw two police officers in a parking lot and pulled in for help.

Jackson was taken into custody. Oakwood Police then closed in on Luna-Flores.

Luna Flores is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping.

Jackson is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and pimping.
