The Forsyth County Animal Shelter hopes to make holiday wishes come true for families, and pets, by waiving its standard $85 pet adoption fee through January 2.
“No one wants to think about a pet spending the holidays in a shelter, which is why we are hoping this special promotion will encourage residents to bring home a cat or dog to be a part of their family,” said Animal Shelter Manager Cindy Iacopella. “All of the pets at the shelter deserve a good home, especially this time of the year. By taking advantage of this promotion, residents can not only save money but more importantly give a new life to these wonderful animals.”
The shelter’s adoption fee includes microchipping for all pets, altering and age appropriate vaccinations.
