The Gainesville girls basketball team edged out Duluth 42-40 on Thursday.
Tija Blackwell poured in 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds to pace the Lady Red Elephants. Courtney Hawks and Jada Harrison each scored 4 points, whil Lauren Teasley snagged 10 rebounds.
