A tractor trailer carrying a good portion of a house, framed entirely in a business parking lot in Flowery Branch, made its way to the Copper Glen subdivision in Hall County Tuesday.
King's Hawaiian and Habitat for Humanity of Hall County joined forces to build the home for a four-year King's Hawaiian employee and her four children, according to media release from habitat.
"We look forward to the day when Maria and her children can play in the yard in front of her newly stationed home," Habitat Hall Volunteer Coordinator Christine Osasu said in an email to AccessWDUN.
The company provided funding for building and moving the house. Employees framed the house in seven days.
Copper Glen is located on Baker Road off of Ga. 60/Candler Road. It was donated to Habitat Hall for the development of 21 houses.
