RABBITTOWN — For some high school quarterbacks, six touchdown passes would represent a good season.
For East Hall's Austin Parker it represents a pretty good Friday night.
Parker, who leads the entire state in passing yards with 3,563, also has 38 scoring passes so far this season. And on Friday night, the Vikings senior torched yet another defense, striking for six passing TDs in a 47-27 win over Fannin County.
For his efforts, Parker has been named the Friday Game Night, Coca-Cola United Bottling Player of the Week.
Parker's performance helped East Hall to end the regular season on a high note, and now he will get a chance to strut his stuff on the playoff stage as the fourth-seeded Vikings get set for a first round match-up at Region 8-AAA champion Morgan County.
With that in mind AccessWDUN Sports and Friday Game Nght editor Morgan Lee recently caught up with Parker to talk about another big night for the Vikings offense, how they feel about their playoff chances, and what the future holds for the gunslinger that has made quite the name for himself in 2017.
