Authorities Thursday released a basic description of the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run Monday night in Dawson County.
The Georgia State Patrol and its Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team are looking for a 2009 or 2010 Mercury Mariner or Ford Escape with right side damage.
80-year-old Bobby Eugene Wells of Dawsonville was stuck and killed as he walked from the Chestatee Worship Center across Dawson Forest Road.
Authorities asked that anyone with information on the vehicle contact Georgia State Patrol Post 37 Cumming at (770) 205-5400.
