Boys basketball: Dawson County pulls away from rival Lumpkin County in overtime

DAHLONEGA — The Dawson County boys basketball team picked up a road region win at rival Lumpkin County, 66-58 in overtime, on Friday in Dahlonega.

The game was tied 55-55 after regulation, and Dawson outscored Lumpkin 11-3 in the OT period. 

The Tigers were led by Jeremiah Crumley's 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Ryan Gallenkamp scored 19 points to go along with 5 rebounds. Cullen Reed scored 16 points and added 9 rebounds. Coey Watson contributed 10 assists and 6 points. 

The Indians were led by Zach Pulley with 18 points. 

Dawson hosts Fannin County at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
