BUFORD — For the second consecutive night the Buford boys gutted out a tough victory in overtime. The Wolves needed double-overtime on Saturday to beat Harrison 100-99 at the Buford gym.
Buford (15-2) was able to withstand 14 3-pointers from the Hoyas (10-8). Buford countered with 11 3-pointers.
Marcus Watson had a huge game for Buford with 30 points and eight rebounds. David Viti added 27 points and six boards, Alex Jones had 14 points and 14 assists, and Donell Nixon had 10 points for the Wolves.
Juwan Owen paced Harrison with 31 points. Chris Brown had 27 points and Coston Tate finished with 18 points on six 3-pointers for the Hoyas.
