The college football season is coming to a close, but one fan will remember this game forever.

Jake Parker, a 12-year-old Clemson fan with muscular dystrophy will be at the championship game cheering on his favorite player, Gainesville native DeShaun Watson. Jake's family raised the necessary funds by organizing a GoFundMe page, allowing them to travel to Tampa, Florida, from their home in Maine.

Jake's father, Giles, joined the Afternoon News Wrap just hours before kickoff to discuss the long road it took to get to the game, and a special surprise gifted to the family by Clemson head coach, Dabo Swinney.
