Hundreds turn out for weekend events in the area

Two annual Northeast Georgia events drew hundreds to Clarkesville and Gainesville over the weekend.

The annual Taste of Clarkesville was held Saturday on the Clarkesville Square with a variety of food vendors, wine tastings, entertainment and an antique and specialty car cruise-in.

On Sunday, Interactive Neighborhood for Kids (INK) in Gainesville held its annual Personal and Family Preparedness Fair featuring representatives of area public safety and response agencies and free museum admission.

Hundreds fill the Clarkesville Square to sample food and beverages from local eateries during the annual Taste of Clarkesville.
