COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. — The Georgia men¹s golf team finished fifth on Tuesday in the Franklin American Mortgage Company Intercollegiate at the Grove.
The Bulldogs capped the event at The Grove Club with a 7-over 295 to wind up at 19-over 883. Ole Miss captured team honors at 4-over 868, followed by Kennesaw State at 10-over 874 and Charleston at 14-over 878.
Senior Greyson Sigg, sophomore Tye Waller and freshman Spencer Ralston all signed for a 1-over 73 on Tuesday. Senior Jaime Lopez Rivarola added a 4-over 76 and sophomore David Mackey had a 7-over 79.
Ralston led the Georgia individuals as he came in seventh at 1-over 217 six shy of Ole Miss¹ Braden Thornberry. Sigg wound up ninth at 3-over 219, followed by Waller in 13th at 4-over 220. Lopez Rivarola checked in at 12-over 228 and Mackey finished at 17-over 233.
Playing as an individual, junior Zach Healy carded a final-round 7-over 79 to wind up at 10-over 226.
The Bulldogs will return to action Oct. 2-4 in the Nike Invitational in Fort Worth, Texas.
