Cla Knight fastest in FASTRAK Late Models at Volunteer

BULLS GAP, Tenn. - Cla Knight took the lead on lap eight of Friday night’s FASTRAK Racing Series event at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, and drove away to score the victory.

The North Augusta, South Carolina speedster collected a cool $2,000 pay day with the win in the 40 lap feature.

Phillip Thompson set fast time in qualifying with a lap at 13.100 seconds. With 32 laps left to run, it was Knight powering in to the top spot. From there, he would drive away to take the victory.

Pierce McCarter finished in second, with Bryson Dennis in third, Jensen Ford in fourth and Matt Henderson in fifth.

Chris Steele, Chase Washington, Gary Crittenden, Forrest Trent and Marcus Minga rounded out the top ten finishers.
