A new Starbucks location in Gainesville will be opening to the public Friday at 5 a.m., developer Rock Baker with Bre-Rock Developing, LLC said.
The new location on Thompson Bridge Road, near the Wal-mart Neighborhood Market, was first announced in March, after 15 months of negotiations.
Baker said the new location will have a video ordering system, where drive-thru customers can see their barista, and vice-versa.
It will also include outdoor patio seating.
