DAHLONEGA — Macy Banks tossed a one-hitter and fanned five to lead East Hall to a 4-0 victory over Lumpkin County Tuesday in Region 7-AAA softball action.

It was the second straight region win for East Hall (5-3, 4-1 Region 7-AAA) who got a three-run home run from Jennifer Lopez in the third to break a scoreless tie. The Lady Vikings added another run in the sixth. The win pushed East Hall into second place in the region, a game ahead of Lumpkin County (6-5, 3-2).

Natalie Robinson took the loss for the Lady Indians going the distance and walking two while striking out five.

East Hall next will travel to Franklin County on Wednesday and then take on North Hall on Thursday at East Hall Park in a battle for first place in the region.

Lumpkin County is off until traveling to Pickens on Saturday in a non-region battle.
