An early morning fire destroyed a home on Holly Springs Road in Gillsville Thursday, officials said.
Firefighters responded to find the 2000 square foot home fully involved in flames, according to Hall County Fire Captain Zachary Brackett.
"A defensive attack was utilized to quickly control the fire," Brackett wrote in a media release.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. Hall County Fire Marshal's Office officials were trying to determine the cause.
The home is between Coker and Lebanon Church roads.
