A woman suffered second and third degree burns during a house fire Monday evening in Flowery Branch.

Hall County Fire Captain Zachary Brackett said crews were called to the house on Osborn Road and found smoke coming from the home's basement and an injured woman outside. The 56-year-old, whose name has not been released, suffered burns on 30 percent of her body and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire and no one else was injured. Brackett said officials do not know the cause or origin of the fire.
