LULA — The City of Lula is hosting is annual "Spring Clean" program today, May 2, for specified items.
This year the program will include household bulk waste such as mattresses and box springs, chairs, tables, sofas and other household furniture.
Items should be placed neatly by the curbside today for pickup.
No large metal appliances, tires, propane tanks, construction debris, engines containing gas or oils, paint cans or cleaning supplies, or yard trash or trimmings will be picked up.
The "Spring Clean" pick-up day is held each year prior to the city's annual Railroad Days Festival, this year set for Saturday, May 14.
