GAINESVILLE — Alyssa Turner provided the biggest highlight on a big night for the Gainesville girls soccer team on Tuesday, as the Lady Red Elephants routed Meadowcreek 10-0 in Gainesville.

Turner scored four goals in the win, taking her season tally to 34 -- breaking the old program record for goals in a season by two.

Meanwhile, Taylor Buffington and Breana Fair each struck twice for the sixth-ranked Lady Red Elephants (14-2), and Dallas Robson and Margaret Carpenter each scored once.

Gainesville, the Region 8-AAAAA champion, will close out its regular season on Friday against North Hall at City Park.
