White County wreck traps one, injures two people

CLEVELAND — A wreck on U.S. 129 South near Cleveland Tuesday morning sent two drivers to the hospital.

The rear-end collision happened around 11:15 a.m. on U.S. 129 near the south end of Tommy Cowart Road.

The female driver of a red car was trapped and had to be extricated by White County emergency personnel.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the wreck.

The driver of this red car was trapped after the vehicle struck the rear of the grey car on U.S. 129 south of Cleveland Tuesday morning. Both drivers were taken by ambulance for treatment of injuries.
