Watson honored with another national award

Deshaun Watson picked up yet another plaudit recently.

The Clemson University and former Gainesville High quarterback was honored by the Touchdown Club of Columbus, Ohio, earning the club's Archie Griffin Award as the nation's most outstanding player.

Watson, who finished as a Heisman Trophy finalist and led the Tigers to a runner-up finish in the College Football Playoff, will enter his junior season at Clemson as one of the most highly-touted players in the nation.

The Touchdown Club of Columbus also honored fellow Heisman finalist Christian McCaffrey as the nation's most versatile player with the Chic Harley Award.
