A traffic stop on Ga. 17 in Towns County over the weekend led to drug charges against a North Carolina man.
Sequoyah The Aquarian, 33, of Hayesville, N.C., was arrested Saturday, Feb. 6, following a traffic stop on a white BMW X5.
As a result of the traffic stop, the driver was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to a statement from Sheriff Chris Clinton, who noted the investigation surrounding the drug arrest is still active and ongoing.
