Two people suffered what appeared to be minor smoke inhalation when their mobile home was destroyed in the eastern part of Hall County early Saturday morning.

Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett said the two occupants of the mobile home on Pleasant Hill Road were able to get out of the burning structure. EMTs evaluated the pair for smoke inhalation, although they refused to be taken to the hospital.

Brackett said crews were called to the scene at about 3:25 a.m. He said the 12 x 60 structure was fully involved in fire by the time firefighters arrived.

Brackett estimated the loss of the home and its contents at $20,000. He said the American Red Cross is assisting the two people who lived in the structure.

Investigators have not yet determined the origin or cause of the fire.
