Hall County Schools’ Early College @ Jones is hosting a Student-Parent Information meeting on Tuesday, February 9, at 7:00 PM at the district office in Gainesville.

·       The Early College @ Jones is a way for high school students to earn a high school diploma while also earning college credits. Students may take college-level core academic classes and may also earn technical college certification in Animation and Game Design; Design and Media Production; or Medical Front Office Assistant. The Hall County School District is partnering with Lanier Technical College (LTC) and the University of North Georgia (UNG) in the program.

Plans for Early College @ Jaones were announced last fall.  (Click here http://accesswdun.com/article/2015/9/335448/hall-county-school-district-working-on-set-up-of-an-early-college-campus to read earlier story.)

The Jones Elementary School campus in Chicopee would be the site of an early college campus for Hall County students.
