The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Pickens County Sheriff's Office are working to remove a possible explosive device from a deceased person's home.
The public is not in danger, according to a post on the Pickens County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
The device was apparently found by a relative who was cleaning out the deceased person's home.
That relative notified police.
