GAINESVILLE — The East Hall girls basketball team edged out local and region rival North Hall 56-53 on Friday night in Gainesville.
Kylah Mize led the Lady Vikings (4-3, 2-0 Region 7-AAA) with 26 ponts. Macy Thomas also scored 15 and Carly Winters added 14.
Sadie Cleveland paced North Hall with 15 points.
The Lady Vikings play host to Banks County on Saturday in the Valhalla Classic in Rabbittown.
North Hall's Taylor Anne Kelley (2) lets fly with a shot on Friday against East Hall. The Lady Vikings held on for the win.
