Hall County Fire Services has taken delivery of and placed into service its newest aerial truck.
It will be housed at Fire Station 16 off of Shirley Road. The purchase was funded by Special Purpose Local Option Sales Taxes.
The truck features a 107’ ladder and a 2,000 gallon per minute pump,
"We have the honor of being the first department in the State of Georgia to have this model of apparatus in service," according to a press release from HCFS.
Hall County Fire Chief Jeff Hood said “Truck 16 will enhance our service delivery tremendously in North Hall County..."
