Three injured in crash at Hwy. 52 and Clarks Bridge Road near Clermont

Three people have been reported injured in the crash of a camper and a Whitfield County law enforcement vehicle in the Clermont area.

Hall County Fire Services Capt. Zachary Brackett said emergency crews arrived at Highway 52 and Clarks Bridge Road to find the crash involving a vehicle towing a camper and the law enforcement vehicle; he said flames were showing.

Brackett said all occupants of both vehicles were out of vehicles.

One deputy and two inmates were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Georgia State Patrol has taken over the investigation.
