FLOWERY BRANCH — The Class AAAAA No. 2 Flowery Branch girls basketball team opened with a 27-6 first quarter and then cruised to a 66-28 win over Forsyth Central Saturday at home.

The Lady Falcons (15-0) clamped down on Forsyth Central the entire game holding the Lady Bulldogs to just 11 second half points. Forsyth Central outscored Flowery Branch 11-8 in the second quarter but that would be as close as the Lady Bulldogs could get.
