SANDY SPRINGS - Sandy Springs Police say northbound lanes of Georgia 400 reopened Friday afternoon after being closed for about four hours after two tractor-trailers plunged to the roadway from I-285.

One of the trucks was an oil tanker, which was carrying 8,000 gallons fuel and ended up on its side.  The other, which overturned, bore the markings of Publix Supermarkets.

Both truck drivers and a driver of another vehicle were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Sandy Springs police said the tanker had no leaks.

Eastbound lanes of I-285 had also been closed.
