ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta police are trying to identify a suspect in a sexual assault during Dragon Con, the annual science fiction and fantasy convention.
Atlanta police Officer Kim Jones said a female in town for the convention was sexually assaulted early Sunday. Police say the suspect is a white male who wore an FBI baseball cap and introduced himself as ``Gary from Marietta.''
Police released a photo of the suspect in hopes that someone recognizes him and contacts police.
Dragon Con spokesman Don Carroll said in a statement to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the convention's policy is not to comment on "specific incidents.''
Tens of thousands attend the annual event, which began Thursday and continued through the Labor Day holiday weekend.
