HELEN - Helen has a new police chief, and he's a familiar face in town.
Brian Stephens, who has served as interim chief for the past couple of months, was appointed by City Manager Jerry Elkins during this morning's Helen City Commission meeting.
City Clerk Marilyn Chastain administered the oath of office to Stephens.
