HARTWELL — The Jefferson girls volleyball team swept a pair of Area 8-AAA matches Thursday.
The Lady Dragons (16-4, 2-1 Area 8-AAA) beat Morgan County 25-14, 25-18 and then knocked off Hart County 25-13, 25-17 in the nightcap.
Abby Wood had another solid day with 10 kills and six digs for Jefferson. Lindsey Nilsen had 10 kills, Madison Corbett had 23 assists and four digs, Grace Haney had 11 assists and four digs, and Olivia Przybysz had 13 digs for the Lady Dragons.
Jefferson next will travel to Athens on Tuesday to take on Prince Avenue and Hebron Christian in a pair of non-area matches.
