WINDER—Winder Police are asking for the public's help in locating two adults and a child they say are involved in thefts at multiple car was facilities as well as a pawn shop.

Lt. Chris Cooper said they used a form of currency attached to a string to steal approximately $700 worth of quarters from a change machine at a Winder car wash.

They also used this trick to steal an unknown amount of money at a facility in Oconee County.

The man is also accused of stealing two expensive power drills (in front of the woman and child) from a Winder pawn shop, all of them walking out of the store together.

The photos are from surveillance video footage from that pawn shop.

This story will be updated.
