ATLANTA — A Grovetown truck driver is over the moon and “stunned” since winning thousands of dollars from a Georgia Lottery instant ticket.

William Smith Jr., 43, won a top prize of $125,000 after playing the instant game Cherry, Orange & Lemon Tripler Cashword.

Texaco Food Mart, 550 S. Chestatee St. in Dahlonega, sold the winning ticket. Smith bought his ticket while making a delivery in Dahlonega.

“It’s hard to celebrate by yourself. I just wanted to call somebody, so I called my mama,” he said. “I need a new truck.  I’m probably going to put most of (the money) away for my nieces and nephews.”

William Smith, Jr.
