GAINESVILLE — Agents with the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) confiscated nearly $20,000 worth of methamphetamine in two recent drug busts in the county.

MANS Lt. Scott Ware said the first arrest occurred on Thursday, June 11 when agents arrested Victor Manuel Nunez-Mendoza, 28, of Sugar Hill. Ware said the suspect delivered an estimated 114 grams of methamphetamine to undercover agents at a location on Williamsport Drive in Flowery Branch. Estimated street value of the meth was $11,400, according to Ware.

Nunez-Mendoza was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

In the second incident, which happened on Sunday, June 14, agents assisted the Georgia State Patrol when troopers stopped 55-year-old Terry Lee Poole on Georgia Highway 365 at Ramsey Road.

Poole was stopped for traffic-related offenses, according to Ware, but he had illegal drugs in his possession. Those drugs were worth an estimated $8,500.

Ware outlined the charges against Poole as trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of clonazepam, no proof of insurance, no metal tires and no obstruction of window.
