SUWANEE — The city of Suwanee is looking for a new Planning Division Director after the departure of Matt Dickison.

Dickison had held the position for nearly seven years, according to Lynn DeWilde, Suwanee spokeswoman, and he left for a similar position with another city.

So far 19 people have applied for the position, which DeWilde said would be posted on the city's website until it's filled.

The position pays $58,000-62,000 annually with benefits, according to the job description posted online.

A bachelor's degree in public administration, urban planning, landscape architecture, or related field is required, though a master's degree is preferred; five to seven years of experience in the field is also required.

If interested, more information can be found on the city's website.
