Good News Clinics receives $50K from state Baptists

GAINESVILLE - Good News Clinics was recently awarded a $50,000 grant from the Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry.

Good News was one of 54 recipients from among 89 applicants chosen to receive financial assistance from the Foundation operated by the Georgia Baptist Convention.

The Foundation distributed $3.2 million in the annual awards ceremony at the Georgia Baptist Missions and Ministry Center in Duluth.

Mary Baxter, development director for Good News Clinics, said the funds will be used for coronary wellness. It is the second grant announcement in the last seven days from Good News. (See earlier story. First link below.)
