East Georgia fire claims life of 14-year-old boy

MILLEN, Ga. (AP) Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that claimed the life of a teenage boy in the east Georgia town of Millen. <br /> <br /> Fire officials say the blaze was reported around 5 a.m. Sunday at a mobile home on U.S. 25. <br /> <br /> Glenn Allen, a spokesman for the state fire marshal's office, said 14-year-old Joshua Christopher Trent Buckley was found dead in a bedroom. Allen said the boy was the only one home at the time. An autopsy has been scheduled on his body. <br /> <br /> Allen said the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, and that investigators are looking at a space heater in the bedroom where the boy was found as a possible cause. <br /> <br /> Millen is about 50 miles south of Augusta.
