Three men seriously injured in Forsyth Co. ATV crash

CUMMING—Three men are recovering from serious injuries following an ATV (all terrain vehicle) crash late Saturday night in Forsyth County.

According to a release from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened shortly before midnight on teh Big Creek Greenway.

Matthew Holbrook, 39, of Cumming was driving along the greenway when he came to a bridge. While crossing the bridge "at a high rate of speed," he ran into the wooden railing while trying to round a bend.

The ATV went through the railing, sending all three men into the ground. Names of the other two passengers were not released.

Holbrook remains in the hospital, according to Deputy First Class Epifanio Rodriguez, while the other two were released night of the crash.

Alcohol is believed to be involved, and the crash remains under investigation.
